Don't forget the VIN plate 'peeks' through the dashboard on the driver's side. You view it looking through the windshield. I believe that is the 'official' plate since it is for the most part 'tamper-proof'.

 

I think he s asking which plate has the manufacturing date also....

Found it under the drivers side door panel. I looked there a couple times prior, just never far enough under the door. As "cerbomark" stated, I was looking for the build date of car.

 

Look at the Picture posted by KSDPRASAD and it is on that side but not on the sill but on the door, it is on the curvature leading down towards the bottom of the door
Will have Manuf date, VIN and some other Weight DOT info legally mandate to be present on every vehicle
