New on this forum

Hi,

I'm following this forum for quite a wile. I had a Cayman S 2005 and recently moved on to a 2009 997.2 Carrera 4.

I'm a forensic psychologist and I live in Flanders (part of Belgium in Europe). Almost 48, married and father of 2 children.

Specs of the C4 are: PDK, Sport & SportPlus, Sport Exhaust, heated seats, parkassist, full black leather, PCM, Tempostat, ... Standard wheels are replaced with 19 " silver BBS-CHR.

Just ordered Tikore lugs which I discovered here and on Planet9

Do I have to tell the C4 is a wonderful piece of driving art?

Regards

X

Great looking car. Congratulations. Was not familar with the " Tempostat " option you listed so I looked it up. It appears to be what we in the States would refer to as cruise control. Seems to associated with VDO. Is that their terminology or is Tempostat commonly used to describe cruise control in Europe ?

Helllo,

Tempostat is the 'official' (German) Porsche 'word' for cruise control. Otherwise CC is commonly described as... cruise control in Europe, altough there is a specific word for it in almost every European language. In Flemish/Dutch it is called 'snelheidsregelaar' :-)
