Moved rear deck fan. Need suggestions on old hole
Trying to spruce up the underside of the lid. Man the hole is so ugly. What can I do to make it more appealing to the eye.
Suggestions please people.

got a couple of questions... do you have a reason to move it? as you can see, the way that fan works is by pulling fresh, cold air from the outside of the deck to the inside via that hole. if there is no hole on your deck behind the new location of your fan, you just render it useless... what year is your car? is that a turbo lid?
Yes there is a hole the same size next to it. It was move to clear the intake. The stock intake was taken out to clear the wing pistons on the TT lid now on a C4S 997.1
Cut a piece of flat stock carbon fiber and use small black bolts to attach it to the original holes.

Where can I get a chunk?
It looks like the fan motor actually screws to the round plastic piece. So maybe you can find another fan unit remove the motor (which looks like what won't clear your intake) and use that to cover the hole.
Hmmmm
If it fit it could have stayed put. Anyone know of a replacement fan with a low profile?
I think that MJFDDS was suggesting that you buy a used fan and disassemble it (remove the fan and the grill). Then use the frame to mount a flat hole cover. Maybe cut apiece of flat plastic to fit the frame and then cover it with 3M vinyl to get that highly desired carbon fiber look.
There's a fan for sale on ebay for $35 http://www.ebay.com/itm/USED-ORIGINAL-PORSCHE-911-997-CARRERA-GT3-TURBO-GT2-ENGINE-BAY-AUXILIARY-BLOWER-/280910646592#vi-content

Go to Home Depot. Get the mesh people use to DIY front grills. Cut out a circle with four "lobes" to match the outline of the fan and four screw posts. Paint it black. Screw in the "grill" using black screws and black washers to make it look like an extra air vent.
