The bummer part was that I was on the interstate & averaging about 75 then got into a pack of about 15 cars for 5 miles all going 65 & not letting anyone pass, especially not a Porsche then I saw an opportunity to pass & I took it & just as I was passing going around a bend there he was & got me.

 

K40 and rest easy.

 

This would be a good excuse to buy a radar detector.

 

At the risk of starting a war over the best radar/laser dector, I would go the V1 route. I have one and it has saved me many times; more than paying for itself in tickets and insurance.

Not that I would advocate speeding...............

+1. The jammer saved my *** on Friday. I was late to dinner, meeting my girlfriend's parents for the first time, yeah, didn't wanna be late. So I was flying, I was doing about 110 on a series of off ramps (I'm familiar with the ramps, driven the course many times) bottom of the ramp, state trooper. K40 lit up, slammed my brakes, down to 70, turned the jammer off and let him get a read.

Still had a full load, but didn't end up with a picture like you have.

It's been 3 years since my last ticket, hehe I guess I will be pulling my Passport 9500 out again.

I use the Beltronics GX65. Love it. Incredible range, push button lock out of fake signals <the reason I didn't buy the ever squawking V1>, red light camera warnings....and very cheap compared to the other solutions.
