Definitely. I love it. Thing is, the muffler shop I used is in Portland, OR. Let me know if you want more info.

Definitely would be interested in anyone that has done it in Seattle Area. Want to try on my 996 before I experiment with my 997.2

Nice garage Lowpue. If you really want to do it, we could look into getting a deal having 2 done at the same time.

Are you planning on removing the exhausts yourself or bringing it into a shop. I was thinking the shop but I may also just read a DIY to take the exhaust off.

Yes- on my 997.1

Sounded excellent - similar to PSE with stock cats. Too loud IMO with the AWE cats.

I took them off and replaced them with non hacked OEM mufflers.

Hey Lig,

Where did you take your car to to remove the cans and have the hack done? I'm open to anywhere in a 30 mile radius of Seattle.

Thanks,

John

Hi John - it all happened right in my driveway.

It's a pretty easy job with just a pair of Rhino ramps.

I talked with the mechanic at Redmond European and they work with Fister. Have done about a dozen he said, and hasn't met anyone that didn't like it. I am interested in having it done and we may be able to get a combo deal.

Let me know if you/someone else is interested.

KSOE,

Lowpue has PM'd me and said he is interested in doing it. Full labor job-removing cans/weld/reinstalling cans.

This is what i'm interested in as well due to time constraints.

What is their price? and yes we would then have 3 people. Let's just post in this thread and get it done. Thanks.

Hi Guys,

Did either of you get the hack done, if so can you please share your experience? I'm really interested getting this done.

Thanks,
Brad

Would you be interested in buying a set of 997C2S mufflers that are already modified? I have a set of "super Gundos" that I took off my car when I sold it last month. I am going to post them in the for sale section later today with pictures.

Are these for a 997.1 or 997.2? Can you PM the price for them please?

thanks,
Brad

Hi Lyn,

GLWS! Too bad it's not for a 997.2. I didn't have enough posts to even reply to your PM.

Thanks,
Brad
