Multi-cylinder misfire codes

Check engine light is on again. Multi-cylinder misfire codes. Cylinders 2, 3, 4, 5 misfires. The car has been running a bit rough with some hesitations while taking off, specially when engine is cold. I changed the spark plugs and the coils looked fine. No cracks. They have been replaced with Beru coils. Cleaned MAF. Thinking about cleaning throttle body. What should I check next if most of the cylinders are misfiring? This issue is making me sick. What do you guys recommend? Why are there many Porsche's with this type of issues?

I had a similar issue. It turned out to be bad gas. Switched to Shell -solved the problem.

Is your car modified or stock? Did you run your tank to empty recently?

Did you also had the hesitation with the cold engine? Problem completely resolves with the shell gas? No more codes?

Could also be your fuel injector's need cleaning. Happened to me, would get odd misfire codes at random times.

I believe is stock. Bought car about 1 month. I have run the gas tank down into the reserve zone (gas light on) a couple of times.

Did you have the dealer or independent shop clean them for you or did you end up using gas additives to clean the system?

Gas additivies do nothing. Don't waste your money on those. I had my indy do a cleaning, after that it was 100%, not sure your millage but it won't hurt.

Same thing happened to my beater car, I pour gallons of additives and it did nothing. On my beater it was a slow progression then complete sputtering. Replace injectors, car runs new.

You need to recheck the install of the plugs and coils. Make sure the plugs are not cross threaded and the coils packs are properly seated.

Why did you use Beru Coils and not OEM ? The resistor levels in those coils may not be able to handle capacity and causes your misfires.

The spark plug change was done by independent shop with OEM spark plugs. The coils were changed before I purchased vehicle. According to shop, Beru coils work good in Porsche. Maybe i need to track down each wire to each cylinder. Have you seen this issue in the past? Have you run into this issue?

Yes, the majority of misfiring issues are (typically) directly related to plugs and aged coil packs. Considering you've had work done in this area recently I'd venture a hard guess something isn't right there.

I'd go back over each plug and coil with the shop that did the work and make sure they are installed correctly.

Cold or not it ran like a tractor. It would barely idle.
Used 2 bottles of Heet gas stabilizer, took it out for a very spirited drive and in 10 minutes ... all gone. No codes, runs like a champ!
Conclusion: water in gasoline, stay away from Mobil gas in Miami.

Multi-cylinder misfire codes

continue to have multi-cylinder misfire codes.
P0300
P0303
p0304
p0305

pending codes
p0300
p0301
p0303
p0304
p0305
p0306

I just replaced the MAF sensor with new one and got same codes back again after 2 days of driving. The engine itles a bit rough, but runs good at regular or high speeds. Should I clean the injectors? Could this issue be related to a bad electrical connector? Bad MAF connector? Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

has the throttle body or plenum been removed or replaced ?

if the rubber boots are not secure, flush and centered to the plenum and gaps exist on either side of the intake... the car will run rough and throw codes.
