Yes. Do a search. You will find numerous threads here on the forum on this very subject...and numerous opinions. Plus there are plenty of YouTube videos posted that provide a sampling of the upgraded exhaust note. Me? I went the El Cheapo route and did the Gundo Hack (again, do a search).

Amen, the only thing that will help are HFC headers

 

Oh they can add power and reduce weight, neither of which the gundo hack can claim--which was my point. They can also change the character of the power delivery, which is performance. There's a noticeable difference in the way my motor builds power, before and after. Throttle response improved.

I agree it's nothing earth shattering, if that's what you tried to say.

 

I thought that replacing the center exhaust (on a 997.2) with bypass pipes give more power?
