if you can afford it, do it. the turbo is superior to your targa in every way. what's to think about?

Sounds like a great example, if you have the itch go for it. I just bought a 2010 C2S, but thought about a 2007 Turbo, in the end I wanted the Newer Car (997.2) with just about 4 years warranty left. The dealer I bought my car from had a Pristine Turbo, but it was not CPO, they told me to get a Turbo CPO is more expensive. Being a CPO that is a very good price in my opinion.

If they give you a fair trade and your Targa is not doing it for you any longer go for it!!!!!!

I saw that car there the other day! NICE!!!

If that one doesn't work out there are a couple of other ones about an hour away!

I got close up on the GT Silver 07 with 23k miles in G'boro...looks clean.

I bought an M3 from them in 09...good experience. M3 was on consignment when I bought it...but they were pretty easy to deal with.

You were willing to pay $30k for it so you are only $3k from the deal. So it looks close as a first offer from them. I would try other tactics-lower the price of the turbo so help reduce taxes and/increase trade in they could start to get confused and you end up with a better deal. I've done that before they ended up giving me what I wanted....good luck with the transaction.

Are those the original Michelin PS2 tires? If so, not much life remaining at 20K miles? Would be a big expense almost immediately upon taking possession.

I like the one with the black interior better, but it is more expensive.

Rotes - Didn't you just get your Targa not that long ago? Begs the question of why you didn't just go for the Turbo in the first place. But if you want the Turbo, go for it. The only thing it doesn't have over your Targa is the Targa roof. And perhaps exhaust note, Turbos are more muffled compared to the NA 911s.
