vf supercharger vs. tpcracing turbo

Just looking for opinions, advice, info or anything you wish to share about this topic. I am looking at adding some torque and hp to my porsche. I have a 2007 911 c4s. Looking at either a vf supercharger or the tpcracing turbo. Thanks for any input.

Sell car, buy 997 Turbo Cab. Lots of power, no headaches.

NorthVan - said it best, "Not worth it" Think about it, why do you think Porsche makes so many levels of 911's. By the time you do all that add on stuff, you would be better off saving that money to step up to a GTS/991-S/ or a Turbo. The day i can afford a GT2,and it isn't fast enough(like that would ever happen) is the day i would consider messing with the motor!!!. (Simple mods are fun,but to me extensive motor work is risky and expensive.)

Porsche Sport Driving School or other driving instruction would do a lot more for less.

Upgrade air filters-K&N or BMC. Center muffler delete- Sharkwerks by-pass or similar. Suspension lowering Springs/Coil-Overs( I love it) Interior up-grades are always nice.(MaCarbon or Exclusive Option) Suncoast Porsche for parts, cheapest I've found.

Join the PCA and your club all help in getting that set up. They have them a lot depending where you are at.

Flash your ECU that will help in some performance. I was going to write a thread about my drive yesterday...test drove a Racing Yellow 991 base model. Handles like a dream..suburb cornering however....my current 4S has more on demand speed when cruising in second or third than the new model.

I have a flashed ECU and Fabspeed CAI. I felt the difference after driving both back to back. When I can afford it, used Turbo, GTS or new 991 4S will be my choice. The S with 400 HP is sweet.

I attend a few PCA events locally, perhaps we will meet one day.
