Question TPMS sensors, any alternative to OPC?

hi there

I need of some new TPMS sensors and the price from Porsche is very expensive, is there any lower cost alternatives which work?

I am currently working with OEwheels to get a set of ITM sensors (they sent me the wrong frequency). From talking to them at length, their sensors should be plug and play and work, but it will be a week or so before I can confirm with my own eyes. Will update. At $169 shipped for the 4 sensors, they cost well under half of what the Porsche sensors cost at Suncoast or Tire Rack, and probably 25% of what my local dealer will charge.

OK thanks m8.

Anyone else tried these OEwheels sensors as an alternative with any joy?

I bought a single Beru equivalent based on price alone. It was installed and it works as well as the remaining Porsche TPMs that are original.
I plan on using the same model if the others go.

Go to Ti re Rack.com for pricing.

TPMS sensors are not really on the Tire Rack website, you have to call them. Current pricing on the Beru sensor (433mhz) is $82.+4.50 for a valve kit, or $345 for a set plus shipping. If the OEwheel sensors don't work, I'll probably re-order a set from Tire Rack

I purchased them. They fit perfect and within 10 minutes of driving they reset and work perfectly.

You mean the OEwheels ones? If so how long you had them fitted?

I'm curious about the OEWheels ones as well. Please let us know when you've installed them! As stated, they are a FAR cheaper alternative.

This is a great deal, I purchased from this company for my Mercedes and they worked perfectly. No reason to pay more.

There was a long thread a few months ago about this very same subject:

Lots of good information in there.

There were a few threads a while back about the OE Wheel sensors. I decided to try them. They work perfectly, just like how the others said it would.
