With the Getty tail do you end up with two brake lights? It looks like the stock light would be blocked by the tail.
The Getty tail is taller than the brake light near the rear window. You have to install a gt3 brake light cable that cancels out that brake light. So now you will only see the brake light on the ducktail light up. Besides, it is kind of cool seeing the edge of the duck tail poking up when ever you look in to your rear view mirror.
It looks spectacular. It should have come from factory this way. The quality and fit was very good. A special thank you to Alex from Mischa for making my purchase nice and easy; he personally delivered it to me in person. Paint, finish, and install done by my local autobody shop. Misha Tail looks great. I had the same one for awhile too. If you check out page 6 and 7 of this forum I discuss a technique I used to get the leading edge of the Misha tail more flush with the body. Basically, remove the 4 screws that hold decklid on to hinges. Then use a round file to open up the adjustment holes a bit by filing down and back towards rear of car on the hinges. Reinstall decklid and adjust so the leading edge is a bit more flush. You will need to be aware of clearance when opening lid so you don't scratch your misha tail. Then a few quick adjustments to tail light alignment with deck lid and that's it. Takes about 30 minutes. Just a thought.

Can you tell me where you got your P lettering for the duck tail? I have been trying to decide what to do with mine ( ducktail is in paint shop now) for a few weeks. Maybe font size and color too? Any information would be appreciated.[/QUOTE]
much lower than mine!
