sorry a bit off topic guys.

Hey Megachimp, since our cars look so similar,
if I may ask one more favor.... Would love to see a photo from the front and back showing how flush your wheels are to the fenders with SPASM. Curious, because i know when lowering the suspension sometimes wheels spacers add a nice touch. I currently have porsche 5mm spacer front and the 17mm spacer rear that comes standard with the rear Carrera Sport wheels with 50mm offset. Do you feel you need or wanted spacers with your current setup?

thanks!!

Just so happens I have some handy. I'm running a similar setup to you, a bit more aggressive perhaps. I've got the same wheels (50mm offset version) I've got 18mm spacers on the rear and 8mm up front. If anything I think the fronts may be too much. Still haven't decided. Let me know if these give you a good idea or if I should snap some that are even more angled.

great, thanks so much. appreciate the photos!!
I also went with larger tires. 245/35/19 front 325/30/19 rears.
helps to square off the tires edges with our wider wheels.

this is a repeat post from an eibach springs thread, but want to share with the ducktail guys...

I just installed Eibachs Yesterday. Took the after pics 1 hour after picking it up from the shop. So there should be a little more settling down. Maybe a 2 or 3/8 of an inch more drop over the next few weeks. We will see and I will take more pics..

These pics taken in a kind of steep drive way so rear springs look slightly higher then when on a flat street, but should give you some idea of what Eibachs Pro kit will look like 1st day on.

1st Impressions. Definitely more planted. Definitely Stiffer, but not in a bad way. Ride quality is still good on freeways and bumpy roads, but the most noticeable difference is the rebound after a bump settles much faster. Much more direct steering and turn in. Corners way flatter. Less movement backwards and forwards under acceleration and braking. Car feels more responsive and sporty overall. Looks WAY better.

I went with Eibachs because I trust the brand and have used them in the past. I also did not want to sacrifice ride quality. I do love to drive my car a lot on the weekends and do several track days a year as well as canyon runs a few times a month and the roads in Los Angeles are crap. So I wanted something I could still live with, but handles better and looks great. I am still taking it all in since I just had them put on and have not had time to do my favorite canyon runs or track days yet, but will let you know soon how I really feel about them after I put it through its paces.

a few changes between before and after pics besides springs.. before pic tires 235/35/19 305/30/19 with 17mm oem spacer on rears.. After pic tires 245/35/19 325/30/19 with 5mm spacers front and 20mm spacer on rears.

BEFORE C4S STOCK with PASM

1st day of pickup with Eibach Pro-kit Springs installed.

Picked up the car after the Getty Sport install and I am in awe how it transforms the car...pictures will be forthcoming after I install the emblems.

Anyone know the spacing for the "PORSCHE" emblem?

looks perfect imo.

do you need the wire harness for the ductail classic since there is no LED on the light? at 911 eye level i take it the oem third brake light is still visible from the rear?

does anyone here in california have any experience with these guys and/or these ducktail spoilers?

i figure they could *potentially* look ok provided a competent body shop does a crap load of work to it to get it to fit perfectly. not sure how they differ from the getty ones exactly but at 800$ it sure seems tempting to give it a try....
