You need to get the Aero harness which deletes the extra brake light plug then you turn off the pop up spoiler option to avoid an error code.
Dealer did the coding for me free of charge.

Car is awesome.
There's a bit more downforce with the ducktail.
Gonna look at a urethane front lip for next year.

Reviving an old thread.
If any of you guys have the Getty Design Ducktail Classic, can you post some pics? I love the Porsche Sport Classic ducktail and this looks to come the closest to it. Also, can anybody relay any info on how this thing does in the rain (heavy rain as in South Mississippi rain)? I run my car through a hand carwash on occasion to rinse the dust and pollen off and this alone allows enough water in the engine bay to cause concern.

Sorry I don't know anything about the Getty Ducktail but the vent opening are actual Porsche GT3 OEM vent grilles so no more of a water issue that an GT3 would experience.

The Getty tail is a clone of the sport classic (as in the pic of the black 997 in this thread). Porsche engines are designed to get wet. I've never had an issue with water with mine and I wash it quite frequently.

Best

Recently updated my old Misha Duck tail with the newer more raked/steeper angle Misha version. Love this look much better. Also a fitment note/tip for every one who has a Misha duck tail.. Since the Misha tail fits "on top" of decklid it can look a bit high and not flush with the transition from the 3rd brake light to the deck lid. I removed the 4 screws that hold the decklid to its brackets, remove the decklid (remove fan 1st) Then make the bracket holes larger where the screws go in to give you more wiggle and adjustment room ( I used a round file to make the holes bigger) ... I had to widen the holes in the direction of the back of the car and down a few milimeters. With proper adjustment you can have the duck tail with a nice, flush and smooth transition.. It will look like a factory fitment and not after market.. I am really happy with the look of this tail with proper fitment.
