1970's to 2014 991's... Porsche's always look better with a tail I think Porsche really struck a nerve releasing the Sport Classic with a ducktail . For a lot of us fans who grew up loving the RS ducktails of the 70's. Myself included. The rear design always looked better with a wing and is a wonderful reminder of Porsche's racing heritage. It's great to see Porsche realize the love ducktails are getting and incorporate them in to their newer models right away... Did you get the optional sport front bumper as well on that 991??
From the first time I saw that kit on a 991 I considered it the "sport classic" look for the the new 991 models... nice choice....Gorgeous 991.thanks for sharing, your car looks really great!
Had to join the club. Got my from Getty Design. Fitment is pretty much spot on, but the fiberglass took a ton of work to get right. Highly recommend getting the 165.00 primer service option. Brought it to Chris Sterling at Sterling Auto Con in the OC to get the work done. They did a great job on the prep/paint and was really meticulous about the small details such as running the wiring harness inside the decklid like the factory does and getting the small light and rubber stoppers in. Looks very factory.
hi, just came across this thread again and your front spoiler caught my eye...can you tell me which one it is, where i can find it for my car...my only problem might be i have a 2008, gen 1 997, will this work? again, VERY nice car... and, yes, i would say you made a good choice deciding to keep her, i am doing the same, nothing out there comes close... thanks, kk

Arnold and Mark at Getty were extremely helpful and I met them in person and got to talk about the business and production process for a while. I ordered the spoiler primered from getty, but you will still need a good painter/body shop guy to go over it patiently and thoroughly. It just needed a little tlc and it came out beautiful... I think this finally closes the book on my duck tail journeys

Hi, This front spoiler is part of a full front end conversion and uses all oem porsche parts that are used on the Sport Classic.
