I have decided to keep my 911 Carrera 4S for a while. At first I wanted something more on the subtle side and the Misha duck tail was perfect for that and I think it is a great looking spoiler. Well, after lots of thinking I decided I wanted my 911 to look as close to the oem Sport Classic as possible and the Getty Design is the way to go. Arnold and Mark at Getty were extremely helpful and I met them in person and got to talk about the business and production process for a while. I ordered the spoiler primered from getty, but you will still need a good painter/body shop guy to go over it patiently and thoroughly. It just needed a little tlc and it came out beautiful... I think this finally closes the book on my duck tail journeys
Where did you get the silver 911 emblem. Can you send a close up of the emblem to me or post it?

I ordered the emblems from Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Emblems seem expensive these days no matter where you look, but Sunset has good prices and may save a bit on taxes depending on what state you live in. They only seem to have the 991 parts for emblems in Chrome.. my emblems are in Chrome. The "Carrera 4S" is smaller print then my original 997 emblems. So the "911" on top helps to fill out the emblem space and it also resembles the emblem setup on the 911 Sport Classic.
Looks amazing. Thanks for taking the time to post.

1970's to 2014 991's... Porsche's always look better with a tail
I think Porsche really struck a nerve releasing the Sport Classic with a ducktail . For a lot of us fans who grew up loving the RS ducktails of the 70's. Myself included. The rear design always looked better with a wing and is a wonderful reminder of Porsche's racing heritage. It's great to see Porsche realize the love ducktails are getting and incorporate them in to their newer models right away... Did you get the optional sport front bumper as well on that 991??
