325/30/19 tires on C4S

Has anyone installed 325/30/19 tires on 997 MK1 Carrera 4S? I have installed 12'' rear wheels and the 305/30/19 seems a little small. I am a little concerned to install 325/30/19 on a all wheel drive car to avoid any damage on my differentials. Is it save to use such tires on my car?

Check the OD. Tire is going to be way too tall.

I put 345.35.19s and 325.30 19s on my GTS without issue.

No, it is a rear drive. You need to maintain the size delta front to rear. My tires are not the exact same OD as the originals but the delta is within range.

Why would you put tires that big on your car? I mean I guess it would look cool but you would get almost the same effect and not spend loads more on rims and tires if all you used were spacers instead. Just me 2 cents

A guy owed me some money and I took the set of tires as partial payment. Would I replace them with the same size? I don't know.

The only way I would be comfortable increasing the rear size by a half inch would be to increase the front as well. 245/35 brings up the front OD by about the same amount. OEM difference front to rear is 3.1%. 325/245 is 3.4%. What I cannot tell you with certainty is if the car is going to care about that small difference. I suspect it will be no more than replacing a pair of tires with new ones.

I couldn't tell any difference between stock and the 245/325 combo. The wear rate seems to be pretty good. at 12,000 miles the rears still have 5/32" left. The fronts are about 7/32".
