add on, to X-51
add on, to X-51
so what would be my next best mod for added power without going way out, price-wise, maybe 200 cell cats...? would i feel any noticeable increase? would ii hear a difference?
If you wait a week or so I shall be denoting my car which has most the X51 parts along with 200 cel cats and BMC filters.
Theory is a full X51 car with 200 cel cats and BMC panel filters is good for 400BHP up from your stock 381BHP. You'll also get crisper throttle response along with both more exhaust and induction noise.
On the cats though stick to straight pipes, don't do x-pipe that design looses low-end torque and I think straight pipes help retain the 911 sound.

denoting...? do you mean you are taking off stuff for sale? i thought you were just getting it sorted and going to the dyno... let me know, let us know
Attached is the picture of my passenger side decklid hole for the x-51 airbox. I need to know if there should also be a hole in the black plastic to allow airflow through the spoiler
Thanks for your help.

and what are the BMC filters? something like k&n, and they fit in the x-51 box? can you hear a difference? I've never heard of them until the last couple of days on this thread
BMC is similar to K&N,, i did the mod after my high flow cats and can't hear the difference due to the loud exhaust. Friends 997.2 TT can hear the difference after he installed BMC .
