Wear Marks In Cabrio Roof

96' Cabrio - While treating my cabrio roof today I noticed 2 really good wear marks on each side of the roof, parallel to each other, one on the drivers side, other on the passenger side. When I looked underneath there is a round patch, looks like from the factory where they expected this area to wear so it was built up. The drivers side looks like its about to wear through.

Does anyone else have wear marks in this same area? Do you have a patch underneath?

Last question, it is still under CPO, any chance PNA will replace it for me? It goes in Friday for routine maintenance so I will ask, just curious if anyone else is or has experienced this. Keep in mind it is an AZ car with 46K mi and the top goes down probably more than average I would expect.

Those are normal. Not wear marks but pressure marks as the top sits against cushions when it is folded. Those are where the cushions press against the folded top.

That's not good. Maybe some debris got in the area where the top gets stored. Might be worth lowering partially and looking around with a flash light. The only wear marks I get are the folds on the sides which are a little fuzzy from rubbing. Where you are pointing I just have the circular press marks.

I have the same on my 08 cab. According to my dealer those are normal wear and tear, not under warranty.

I will see what my dealer will do for me, holes being worn due to the mechanism just doesnt seem like it should fall in the "norma & tear category". Maybe more the "recall" and lets fix this category would be more like it.
