I just decided to add a little lettering to the rear of my targa 4.

Reasons?

-personally I love the look, keeps it classic styled but with the two different textures on the emblems, creates a depth to the rear.

-people kept either asking why I didn't buy a 911 or telling me the 911 is their favorite... I guess not knowing the targa 4 is a 911

Let me know your thoughts!

i would take off the 911 emblem or remove the targa 4 and center the 911 on that space

 

if you like it go for it. i like the idea of just the 911. great looking car though. do you have more pictures? Also, how is red as far as a color to take care of? i have black and it shows every scratch!

 

I wouldn t worry about comments like that which shows their lack of being "real car people" anyway.
Do what YOU like, I think it s too busy IMO.

 

Like others have said do what you like, I think I would go with one or the other though. I also think it would look good if it was black, possibly plastic dip it.

 

Keep the mystery in it - no 911 logo. For that matter why is there even a 4 since the 997 Targa is only offered as a 4.

Maybe "Targa 911". Just a suggestion, ether way you know what you have and it looks great.

I opted for the plain 911 on the back but if that is what makes you happy by all means.

If you really want to start an argument change it to GT3 RS. Then watch the comments fly!

someone should get a new set of the PORSCHE letters and put PORSH centered on the lid. certainly a conversation starter...

 

I think it is to busy, anyone that see's your car and says their favorite is the 911 knows nothing about cars, it would not bother me at all.
