Exhaust Tips
Sure, options galore... depening on material and condition. Here are a few I've used on various vehicles:
Blue Magic Metal Polish, Chrome Polish, Flitz, Brasso, Barkeepers Friend, #00 steel wool to name a few
As with all things detailing related... use the least invasive method possible. Start w/ mildest option and work it thoroughly before moving up to something more aggressive.
Good luck

I remove them from the car and use a bench top buffer with red rouge buffing compound twice a year. Then follow it up with NeverDull metal cleaner and then Blue Magic polish. They always come out looking great. This method lasts longer than just a metal polish alone but won't last forever.
Cleaning exhaust tips is far from rocket science. You just gotta clean them and then polish them.
My PSE tips were filthy when I bought the car. I started with some soapy water to remove the bulk of the gunk, then I went at it with some super fine steel wool. Then polished it off with Mother's polish, but frankly you can use any metal polish, it doesn't matter.

I just use Blue Magic Polish maybe 2-3 times a year, nothing else, and my tips look like they're brushed chrome. I actually prefer the look to real chrome.
But I keep them clean all the time and don't let any build up occur.

I used to spend more time cleaning the tips than the whole car. Pissed me off after a while.
The brushed metal just holds the carbon.
My solution was FabSpeed stainless tips.
Now it a damp paper towel and snap! Bobs your uncle.
