German dealership offers 4% off MSRP & Options?

I live in germany and work for the US Government. One of the benefits of living overseas is no tax and they offer military discounts. Although I am a contractor they still offer me the same deals as the regular military. All vehicles are made to order only and he can deliver before Nov.

Is 4% off MSRP and Options a good deal?

if the car is 100,000 then u get 4k off. sounds not bad & sure good deal for a S. however, what's the msrp over there? thought pretty high due to strong Euro weak USD.

Depnds on which model. On the regular 997, that is not that great a deal as they have excess here. On a 997 S they would be a very good deal as there is still a shortage over here & most of the time I see they hold at MSRP.

The MSRP is the same since we are not technically buying on the german economy we are buying the car on an american air base. It would be a US-SPEC.

I wish Porsche had a military sales program in Korea. BMW, Mercedes, and Volvo alll have similar programs here. I'm stationed in Seoul, and would place an order in a heartbeat if given the same opportunity.

I looked at a 997S at the dealership in Seoul. It was an Arctic Silver Tip; it cost almost $160,000.

Would you happen to have the email address of one of the salesmen? I would like to contact them to see if they have any programs for Marines not stationed in Germany.

Thanks,

waldo
