Hello Everyone. I Sold my 2008 911 4 and just got this gorgeous 2005 911 S. The white looks beautiful but i need some help on what rims to get. was thinking of going with the original 19 lobster or something else. Also i just placed an order for the eibach springs. Please share any comments or pictures. Thanks guys

 

Think I would go Techart white (see pics)

 

my current favorites: hre p40 conical, bbs e88, or rotiform blq. i also like 997.2 turbo wheels if you want to stick with something oem.

 

plus side on the lobsters is the price. you can pick up a beautiful set for cheap. i like the design myself, but many aren't great fans. i think they would look good on white. i'm also a big fan of HRE and think that a set of anthracite centers and polished lips would look great on white. i'm running black centers and polished lips on my arctic silver. the new p40s would also look good. white on white - too Miami Vice for me.

 

I don t care for those white wheels... I prefer darker or silver/grey like my turbo wheels... Just my 2 cents.

 

classic or modern, i could not get the shortcut but this is the title of a post i put up a few months back. Do a search you will see it and i have oem and the more modern hre p40 on a white car. Just to give you idea of how it looks

 

White wheels on a white car is not a good look.

The first pick with the white leather too, looks like a car Barbie would drive!

 

Clearly you have no sense of Barbie fashion (Pink man, always pink).

Shuddering at brake dust cleanup on white wheels. I have a Carrara White 997 and would kill myself before white wheels. Miami Vice says it best. But...to each his own. Barbie may do pink, but Ken would rock white on white. ;0)
