Just order the Savvy accessory from them. The Savvy plugs into your OBD port under you dash for power. There is plenty of wire to run it up to the unit which mounts with suction perfectly just to the upper left of the rear view mirror. I did a detailed Witte up with pics on Rennlist . Just search savvy

Does your Waze give you an audible warning for each red light/speed camera? Mine does not. I have it set on speaker, no bluetooth. I don't want to tare at the phone screen as I drive.

I have the savvy, plugged in the obd. ran the wire up the front part of the door, then around the dash, up behind the A pillar plastics, tucked under the upper part of the glass to the area below/next to the rearview mirror. Only needed one ziplock band to attach wire to mirror neck.
Works perfect and below 35 mph, usually around strip malls etc etc, it is silent
A+

Good point - no audible alert for red light camera. It does for police though.

I've had one for years. I swear by it. You'll love it. I just got a 2006 C4S which has built-in K40 radar set-up front and back, but it falses like crazy, so I run the V1 with it. Doesn't false much, always spots the real bogies much faster, front and back.

I was an Escort/Passport user since the 80's. Then I got the V1 about 10 year ago. We have two in service now. I would not drive without it. I feel like I am blind when I am in a rental car. You can program it beyond factory default to get most of the false alarms out. The older V1 I use in the 997 has it all programmed to ignore it. I drove my wife's car through Ohio the other day, the factory default setting still picked up a lot of stray radar signals.

JB - Same here. I just purchased a car with the V1 installed and it's very stealth located just ahead of the shifter. Salesman knew almost nothing about it. Where can I find more info. wrt how to use it? It's pretty intuitive but there are a number of codes and tones. Despite my ignorance it saved my fanny twice on a 300 mile drive home from the dealer.

Best money you will ever spend is on a radar detector - ever.
