Replacement Key Shell
I ended up using the three button key shell, because I didn't want to bother with the hassle of shipping this one back and waiting for a new one to arrive. Now, I actually like it more than having a blank space on that part of the remote.
Anyway, I put together a detailed DIY with pictures: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post3946178
This should help answer some of the questions folks have posted on this thread.
By the way, CayenneS2083, thanks for this really nice find!!

Thanks for the diy, did mine yesterday. I just bought a set of used keyfobs(got a great price) it was just a bit of a headache because I had to remove the transponder chip from the used ones and the original keys. Removing the chip from the original was the most difficult part. Mine was really fused with glue inside. I had to really carve it out. I purchased a set of carving tools used for wood or wax carving. It was tough to get out but worth it!
if you get them directly from teh ebay china shops its about 30 bucks. sometimes you can get used oem ones on ebay as well, which is what i ended up doing.
