...that seriously giggles every time I see that 997 in the parking lot and realize yes, damn, that really is mine? I mean, geez, everytime I see it it makes me smile and chuckle to myself, thrilled. What an amazing car.

I think about it all the time. Can a Porsche really be in my garage? I love to drive it...hate to put too many miles on it....love to Mod it...can't always afford to Mod it.....hate to see it dirty......it just goes on and on and on.....

we just don t all admit it

I still oogle 911s as I drive only to realize that I am driving one myself. The iconic shape has to be one of the most beautiful ever created. The car is a rolling work of art with the performance and race heritage to match.
A couple of times a week, when I park my DD in the garage I run my finger over the curve of the back fender and I admire the art.
My wife saw me once doing that and stated "tough competition"

Glad the 911 stirs all your souls (I'm not being sarcastic). I guess though I'm just a square peg in a round hole because I don't wax poetic about my car. It's nice and I like it - but to me it's just a car, a very good looking and fast one but a car nevertheless. Maybe I'm missing the Carrera gene. (Racing bicycles, however, that's another story.)
