looking for brake caliper paint shops in San Diego
I've used Fast Forward Wheels in South El Monte, closer to LA, for powder coating. Turn around time was a bit slow but it was winter so I didn't care. No affiliation.

Edit: see posts below. These calipers might actually be painted.

Something to do with reataining heat...I'll try and find the source or maybe someone else can chime in.
Not exactly what I was looking for but:

There's an actual official Brembo document stating paint only. I will try and find it later.
Thanks Johnny. I went through those links and have two thoughts.
First, the major discussion was centered on heavily tracked cars, be certain to upgrade the cooling ducts, and under the most extreme conditions there really is nothing other than anodizing that will work without discoloring. High quality paint with the largest cooling ducts is the next best option. For non-heavily tracked cars discoloring is really not a problem.
Second, I used http://www.fastforwardwheels.com/ , the same company touted in that thread. Now I'm not so certain my calipers are powder coated. They could actually be painted. I say this because I have a DD Infiniti with candy apple red powder coated calipers done locally. I went with FFWheels on my p-car because of their experience with Porsches. I had just assumed FFWheels powder coated because of my past experience. Perhaps they are truly are painted - bonus for me!
OP - I still recommend FastForwardWheels. Call them and ask the paint vs. powder coating question before making up your mind.

Eli went on to tell me about track testing etc. etc. and how PC is thick and doesn't allow heat to escape as easily as painted. He said they do perform some sort of heating during the final process but it's only to help the durability of the coating.
Confirmed that PC chips in large chunks over painted which will normally only scratch.
