Hello there, I have a Carrera S (997) and would like to know where other owners take their car to get serviced besides an authorized dealer. Thank you in advance.

 

Most take to the dealer for 2 reasons, the car is new and under warranty and factory trained techs that know what they are dealing with.

 

Before moving to Texas there was only one place for me. If you're not doing warranty work ANDIAL in Santa Ana is THE place, there is no one like them, even Seinfeld sends his cars there. Now that I'm in Dallas RUF is the answer. Btw, since Andial is right next door to Porsche Motorsport North America you never know what you're going to see parked in the lot, I've seen all kinds of race cars there. Andial is run by Dieter Inzenhofer. His partner at Andial used to be Alwin Springer who retired as head of PMNA. They have a history of creating fast and reliable race cars, you can't beat that. Take it to GMG; they're in Santa Ana close to John Wayne Airport. They're great. I've sent numerous demanding clients there and they've all raved about the service they've received.
