Any recommendations to do the Gundo Mod in the Bay Area?

Recently pciked up an 07 Carrera S for the weekends and looking to do the famous "Gundo Mod" on my mufflers.

Does anyone know of any muffler shops in the SF Bay Area experienced in doing this work?

Thanks in advanced,

Kalamazoo

I got mine done at a shop called kens sportech in Campbell. You can find them on yelp. They specialize in porsche and they did a good job on mine. A bit on the pricy side (400-500) but it was done correctly, clean welds, and best of all - sounds great !

Go to FD Motorsports near Antioch and get the Fister modded muffler. Call beforehand and make sure Darin has one ready to go

I had it done at my local exhaust shop (Exhaust Works in Belmont) for $100 ( I took off and installed the cans myself )

FD Motorsports all day long. Darin's a great guy, and he's surely got the most experience of all the shops in the entire Bay Area with this specific mod.

(When in Rome... )

Got mine a few weeks ago, and he did the swap and an oil change in the time it took me to eat a couple of tamales at a shop he recommended down the block.

Lol....he made the same suggestion. Equally excited to talk about the tamale shop as new was to talk 911's.

Gotta say, both the tamales and modified mufflers lived up to the hype!

Thanks everyone. Does this mod void CPO warranty? Should I wait until my warranty expires (2 years left)

The only thing it should void is the muffler warranty. All it does it make the car a little louder. It does not touch anything else.
