Good deal or not?

Is this a good deal? If not what do you all think it's worth? Keep in mind there is no warranty on it.

Thanks.

Compared to this one it is not a good deal. If you are willing to go with a PDK then this 2011 Targa 4S is just a bit more and is a CPO car from a porsche dealer.

Seems high to me for a non-S. About 6 months ago I bought an 09 C4S Cab with 13k miles, 2 tone tan/black interior, PDK, heated/ventilated seats, sport chrono, and no CPO for 72k. I know targas are pretty rare in the US, so that might factor in. I'm not sure I could handle the grey interior and I wanted PDK once I drove one (came from an '87 911). In the end, a good deal seems to be paying what we can live with for what we can't live without.

Yeah, I saw that one too. If it was manual, I'd be interested.

I think the one I posted would be a fair price at $62k with CPO, but not sure if I'm just being a cheapskate.

It actually is an S model.

I'd rather a different interior color also, but for the right price I'd consider it. I couldn't see myself paying $70k for it. I think I'd go for a coupe with CPO and full leather before spending the asking price on that car.

Based on what I purchased my 2009 C4s for I would say that 65K would be a fair price on it.

Oops, sorry I missed the "S" in the ad.

Yes, mine was CPO and purchased it in March of this year. Mileage was a little over 18k and the price paid was $68k and original MSRP was around $111k. If you are looking for a Targa 4S then if you find one that you like and a PPI checks out then you should jump on it since there are not that many to choose from. It sounds like you are flexible and would consider a 2S and if that is the case then I'm sure you know you will have much more to choose from and will have more negotiating power and could probably get a CPO car with under 20k miles for around 60k. The next few months are probably the best time to get a porsche from a pricing standpoint. Best of luck with your search

Thanks for the info man. I'm flexible, but would only consider the C4S as an alternative due to where I live. Need AWD because of laws that require chains if you don't have AWD on certain roads in the winter.

Price needs to be lower on that car. I would say 70 max even if CPO'd. Is he the first owner? He can pay to have it added. I can't remember the cost to do so but it would transfer in a private sale.

it s a low mileage car so it should bring a little more.... I think it s a few thousand high but a nice car IMO. If it s documented as far as service etc asking price is close enough to make offer and get a fair deal.
A side note, my dealer told me months ago that 09 s are in demand because it s the updated 997 and not a 991 which is more money and had some changes people might not want.
