Interior Care
What are you guys using to clean/maintain the dash and seats? I currently use the leather conditioner I bought from the dealer but was wondering if there are better alternatives. Anyone use the Ammo NYC cleaning products?
I use Zaino Leather products: cleaner and conditioner.
I truly LOVE the smell of the conditioner. It exhales and reinforces the natural smell of fresh leather and is quite intoxicating.
I usually apply the conditioner with my bare hands on dashboard, seats and door panels (I have a full leather interior).

Pinnacle here. Phil at detailers domain.
Also, adam's makes a product called VRT, which has a built in sunscreen/UV preventer in it for those of you with leather dash.
IMO, more than anything, its important to clean and condition leather as it get dry. Ever wonder how an original owner takes car of his cars....look at his bolsters.
I do mine every 2 months so the bolsters don't crack. Don't forget the steering wheel.

Leatherique for me. Pushes out allot of dirt and makes leather very soft. Sold my S550 before got the carrera and with 76k miles seats looked better than most cars do at 50k. Dealer was speechless.
I even use it for all of my shoes.

As I have read also! Here is a post from Eric @ Bumper Plugs.

Porsche does NOT recommend conditioner or 'stuff' on the DASH leather.
It is dried/treated a different way in the factory before being installed in the dash/car, and if you start conditioning it, you may end up with trouble. Leave it alone.
Seats, fine. Doors, ok. Dash - NO. A damp (barely damp) microfiber wipe is all you need.
Leave the dash alone - the sun kills it with heat and if you start conditioning it you may be very disappointed.

I have never used any products on my dash and seats. I just used a damp microfiber cloth. I made the mistake once and brought some armor all leather conditioner at autozone and my interior light up like cheap plastic.
