natural and tan interior

I don't know why, i don't like this color on a sports car.
on a luxury sedan or SUV, i am kewl.

Why do I see so many 911s with this color interior?
What makes you chose this color? Just curious to know or understand just in case I am missing something...

People tell me it's the contrast, depends on the color. I myself prefer the previous boxster/911 Ocean Blue metallic cab with a natural/tan or beige. But for silver I go black, but the brown looks good on the CaymanS silver.

i do understand it's their money and not questioning their opinion.
Just wanted to know.
I love Tan and natural on the luxury car all day long.
but on a sports car i like blk, red and even coco.

just wanted to know if this was personal taste or people buying it cuz they want the luxury feel.

My dad got natural on his latest GT silver C4S cab because black gets too hot in Dubai....
Also, silver/blk way too common and overdone....He wanted red but thought terracotta was too orange...
Dark greys (e.g. slate) actually look better with tans than black as it breaks it up a bit....My dad had a 456 in dark charcoal with tan and then a titanium 550 with cream interior - both were stunning and better than black interiors IMO

My favorite is slate gray with the ascot brown from the CGT or the slate with the Lexus SC430 brown leather.

no offense RAJ, but it's strictly preference. Thats like saying "why would you choose to buy any other color other than black when you could buy a black car?" So on and so on. The question does not make sense to me. I love the tan interior, it's elegant IMO. I'm not sure why, It just is. I'll post some pics later tonight and maybe you'll see why somebody would go tan. Once you go black...

I totally agree with you. I don't like any shade of tan as an interior color for Porsches or any other sports car (however, Ferrari's tan has grown on me and is the only tan I like and would get).

I actually grilled one of my friends, a fellow 6speed member, about getting Sand Beige (ahem, your honor). But I guess people's tastes change with age
