Arrghh!! - I curbed one of my rear wheels.

Any recommendations for wheel refinishing in the SF Bay Area?

 

I would buy a used wheel on eBay.
I think it would be difficult to refinish the polished rim.

 

There should be many places that can take care of that serious curb rash up there! Just way out the difference in cost from repairing the wheel or replacing!? I know down here in So.Cal. there are reputable places!Your lucky it's not a 3 piece wheel like mine!

So, I have researched wheels shops as I need to get the wheels on my '10 C4S refinished. I have used other shops in the past. This shop comes highly recommended - but I have not used them yet.

They can fix that here is little ole Melbourne, FL, so I'm sure someone is the bay area cab restore the wheel.

Curbside Wheel Repair, $100 wheel, based in the East Bay but its a mobile service. Used him several times and did a write-up on him. Young guy but very experienced. Does great work.

I have been told from a reliable source that Pacific Rim in Pittsburg, do very good work and are reasonable, worth a call 925-473-0277 check them out.

BTW, the Carrera Sport Wheels are my favorite 997 wheels.
May change my Carrera S II wheels to your style.

 

Call your dealer and ask who they use. Also call the BMW dealer with the same question. I've used Alloy Wheel Repair in the past and had good results but they are a franchise so be sure your local guy gets good references.
