Titanium Lug Reviews?

I'm considering buying a set of titanium lug nuts for my 2006 C4. I've looked at Tikore and those offered by World Motorsports. There appears to be a huge difference in price and I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on the difference, if any, and satisfaction. The car is not tracked. Thanks for any assistance.

I am considering get a set from World Motorsport, however curious to price differential...seem Tikor lug bolts has a shinier finish. There are other brand out there too.

I have 1 set of Tikore lug bolts on a 997, a set of World's lug bolts on my Cayenne, and a set of World's lug nuts on my other 997. Quality on both is great. Buy the World's at the lower cost.

We do not offer a security lock set, as a matter of fact we are against doing security locks here at WORLD Motorsports. The main reason is that we have had frustrating experiences with wheel locks for over 20 years. I cannot tell you how many times we have had cars come in our shop without the security key to the lugs and the owner of the car has no idea where it is. It's often taken out of the car at another shop and never put back in. When this happens we are forced to remove the locks and we end up replacing them with a non-security lock. What if this happens to you when you are stuck on the side of the road?

If you are dead set on getting a security lock, go ahead and give TiKore a call for them.

We manufacture all of our own lugs using high precision Ganesh CNC machines. The rumors seem to be that we do not do this as I have had many questions in regards to this recently. We have an open door policy at our shop and we always welcome customers in to see everything that we do. Whether you want to see our machining center, our installation center or our in house wind tunnel dyno we are open to visits from ANYONE. We are proud of what we do and we want everyone to know how good the quality is of all the parts that we build.

We sell A LOT of titanium lug bolts and lug nuts. Between this forum and Rennlist, we have easily sold over 500 sets of Porsche lug bolts and we have not had one complaint about the product. I am sure you will be 100% satisfied with the product you receive from us.

It will also make you that much happier that you received an amazing product at a price that was reasonable. They taught me in business school that sometimes you need to raise the price in order to instill the perception of quality. I understand the concept wholeheartedly but I feel we have priced the product correctly for the market. Titanium is a commodity and depending on the price fluctuations of that commodity, the price may change in the future.

I appreciate all the business I have received from the forum members and look forward to providing everyone with more great products in the future.

I bought mine early on and after a years use, no issues at all.
So early in fact, it was before the retail packaging was even developed.
I got them bulk in a plastic bag!

Best value for the money! Beautiful product.

I'd rather someone steal my wheels than lose the key for security lugs. I have insurance for the wheels. absolute nightmare if key is lost.

Regard to the lock...if i was a thief an unlocked car is easier than locked. Thief are opportunistic easy in easy out.

Losing a lock to a $500.00 lugs set is possible...but logically it's ludicrous. Like i lost the key to my Porsche, can't remember where my wallet is, the Hublot just slip off the wrist, etc.

Aren't we supposed to be the responsible one?

Oh and everything is insured.
