So had the Gundo hack for a while now, brilliant. Especially on my 3.6 Carrera which many people describe as 'too slow'.

Are there any other hacks people would recommend to make it louder?

I don't want a new exhaust system but if there is something simple and basic enough to get done I'll do it, but I am happy with the sound as it is as well.

 

Center muffler bypass is a typical next step. Many options for that , just search around.

No center muffler on a 997.1, only 997.2's. What year is your car?

 

I have to agree with the Sharkworks center X pipe. My brother did one on his '10 C4S with PDK and PSE and it sounds great. Wish my wife would let me do one on her '10 C4S with PSE. But, it's her DD so I respect her wishes.

 

I have a 997.2 c4s with gundo and fabspeed intake - sounds "decent" - but still not like sport exhaust

 

I did the muffler bypass as well and its awesome! Maybe add an intake as well
