2007 997 RMS Replacement
Hello,
I noticed some oil in my gearbox when I changed the clutch and there's oil under the car, it has never dripped on the floor, but you can see the oil.
Since there was a bit of oil in the clutch area of the gearbox I'm guessing it's the RMS. So I just want to use up the pressure plate and plate I changed, the fly wheel is shot couldn't wait to reorder and have my gearbox out for another 2 to 3 weeks so I planned to revisit again and look at the tiny oil trace.
This is 2007 C2S Cabrio, does anyone have steps to change the the RMS?

Make sure to get the newer style seal that has multiple sealing ribs. Also, it should really be installed with the proper tool so it goes in square and to the proper depth. See if you can borrow it over a weekend from your dealer or indy, whomever you have a good relationship with.
