2008 C4S Evap canister leak

I recently had a check engine light come on and the dealer says the problem is a carbon canister leak. Porsche is telling them that they no longer make the part. Other used part sources they tried no longer supply the part because it must be shipped with hazardous materials because the part may contain full vapor. They also state that the canister itself can't be repaired because of the location of the leak.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Yes -that looks like the part. Price is the same as the only other new one I found. We ended up using a used part.

It was the canister that had a crack in it, therefore the leak. The leak was near one of the hose attachments and could not be repaired.
