Wow, Pandoras box. Zaino is very easy to care for once applied but it is a huge PITA to get started, I think its worth it if you clean the car weekly or more often.

I think Mequiars Next Gen Tech wax is great but requires wet washing more frequently. Zymol is great but a little old school.

There are lots of great products and regimens just depends on how much time you have or how severe your OCD is.

Check www.griots.com

Make sure you load up on good quality micro fiber towels and use soft water to wash and rinse the car.

On black and other dark colors the Pinnacle Souveran is a winner.

Rejex is HOT. Eric has this one down to a science... I will send pics at the end of the week when I return home.

Easy prep, easy installation - excellent results. You need to check this out before you do anything else. I was headed for Zaino, but Eric caught my attention; good thing - Rejex was too easy and looks incredible!

I absolutely hated Rejex, it was the most overhyped stuff I had ever used IMO. I even bought 2 bottles of it thinking I was going to like it so much because everyone praised it; I used it multiple times trying to give it more chances and finally ended up giving it away. Zaino is decent to me, it protects like a mother but it doesn't look good IMO, it looks great on white because all it does is reflect real well, but it lacks character.

My all time favorite still is P21S/S100, i've yet to find something that adds the depth and richness of it. Sure it doesn't last as long as zaino or rejex, but I personallly could care less about that as I reapply every other month or so.

and ultimately keep in mind, all these things are subjective; find something YOU like and use it often.

Hotrodguy...I actually agree with you. My all time favorite is P21S (after Klasse AIO applied), it's easy to apply and no waiting. I have a black car so it looks sweet. I have Natty's, Poor boys, Klasse, Rejex, Zaino. Not impressed with Rejex at all and Zaino is a real PIA to apply. Just MHO!

wasn't as slick as most the products I use, didn't do anything for me in the looks department, didn't last as long as I expected it to. And I did give it more then a couple of chances, I really wanted to like this product since everyone seemed to enjoy it so much. Application wasn't really any easier then most of the things I use as well. I think like zaino, most of the people that like rejex haven't really tried other things.

BTW, anyone that buys in to the "you can just take a hose to your car and wash it, instead of using soap or water" that most of the rejex people seem to believe, you are very mistaken.

Cool

Scott:

I'd be interested in knowing more about your application. How old is the paint on the car you Rejex'd? Was there wax or other products on the paint, and if so, did you properly remove them before the Rejex applications? That is a very critical step. Knowing you as a professional detailer, I figure you went about it the correct way.

As for others claims, I can't vouch. I can, however, attest to my personal experience with Rejex, P21S and other products on my vehicles. Rejex is the only thing that has been used on my '04 C4S Cab, and the paint looks like the car was done yesterday. Daily driver too. Washing? Hell yeah I use soap. Anyone not would be stupid. But....the nice thing with Rejex is that the water pressure DOES take a majority of the crud off the car before you start washing. It works for me every time. I do garage the car at home and here at the office/warehouse, so it does not get maximum outside exposure, another factor in how long these products last.

I Rejex the Porsche (and daughter's Jetta, and my parts hauler Escape, and the wife's Audi) about every 3 months. So far so good.

And finally, if you did buy Rejex from us, and are not happy with it, return it for a refund (email me). If not, I'd suggest contacting whomever you purchased from, as they would likely offer a similar refund.
