Leaking Window Seals?

Last winter I noticed my windows were not venting, although I could hear and sense the attempt. I subsequently noted the window motor attempting to pull the window, and with the help of a credit card I was able to separate the two - wished I had thought of potential consequences. So fast forward to Spring, Summer and now Fall, I've noticed the interior lower panel is wet anytime there's rain or wash the car. Anyone experience this? :-/

forbes210 is infamous around these parts
Is it wet all the way on the bottom of the panel (bottom of carpeted area)? If yes there might be different reason for that.

Thanks for responding. Yes, that’s exactly what gets wet. Additionally, I think there’s some association with the windows not venting (frozen on place) when it’s below zero and there’s been some moisture (rain or snow).

Thoughts on root cause?

I believe reason why bottom of the window gets wet is broken seal between door shell and sub panel (black panel underneath your finished door panel). It's a fairly common problem and if you'll look around you'll see that many owners had the same problem. I had the same issue and was able to apply regular seal from home depot which took care of the problem. You won't be able to buy seal only from porsche as they sell entire black panel with it. Also it is important to make sure that all the clips holding your door panel are in good shape and they are engaged properly otherwise they will let the water through. Unfortunately It's a very fragile design.
