Hello everyone. Some of you know me from the other board (Fchat). I would like to add to my collection with possibly a 2007 Carerra S Cab. Is there a small power bump coming in the 07 cars? I would love to order a Guards Red/Beige 6 speed with Red Gauges, Red Calipers, Red Belts, PSE, Sport Chrono plus, red stitching, Adaptive Sports, limited amount of Carbon interior....If anyone can recommend where I can order this car at a nice deal, I will be very grateful. I'm in Orange County, CA.

Welcome aboard. The 997 should be a nice addition, go with the x51. As far as I am concerned, there is not extra power for the 07's. Sounds like a nice combo with the Guards Red.

Ive always wanted a Red/Beige Carerra...and finally I'm ready to pull the trigger with the S Cab...just gotta find the right deal...hopefully.

 

what is the engine bump for 07? any other changes? i am finally considering getting rid of my 996 for this....

 

i doubt there will be a power gain on 07 cars. i can only see that happen on the face-lift 997 which is not happening anytime soon.

 

Just got word from my dealer. 997S will get a revised front fascia/grill and nose openings for 2007. There is speculation that this is to increase airflow to the engine and a 10-15hp bump on the cars. Lets hope they do this so I can order my 997S Cab for August delivery!

Oh by the way autospies.com is saying in todays edition that Cobalt Blue will be a no cost option on the 997 (its 3K now).
