I decided to paint the center of my wheels from silver to black, change up the look of the car a bit. What do you guys think? I like it better with black centers. I know down in California black centers may be played out by now, but up here near Seattle I still very rarely see a nice car that has black on black.

Yes the yellow calipers really stand out now. The wheels appear slightly smaller with the black centers. The wing is from Rinspeed, as well as the front lip and side skirts; and the car is lowered with H&R springs.

 

It still looks good, IMHO it looked better before. As long as you're happy with the results, that's all that matters.

I know they have nothing to do with each other, but I think the black centers would look better without the aftermarket wing.

Both look good, but I like the black just a wee bit more...very nice.

 

In general, I think black wheels look best on lighter-colored cars - and always with a chrome lip. I don't care at all for black wheels with no chrome at all. Yours look good, but I really liked the wheels in the original silver.
