For the most part I have been involved very little with this thread except for reading the ridiculous comments that come out of this kid's mouth. I stock 997S run from what I have seen a 12.3@115 to 12.6@112-113 avg, for the most part. I stock m3 6MT runs 13.3-13.5@105-106 stock avg. Even a SC'd M3 with stage 1, 440 hp and about maybe 375 to the wheels I have seen run anywhere from 12.1-12.4@around 117 or so. So how can u even think that a bolt on M3 will can even run anywhere near what a 997S runs. My guess, a full bolt on m3, maybe 12.6@110-111. Still being beaten in trap mph by a STOCK 997S. We all know this, so Im not trying to tell all my fellow 6speeders, but get this through ur head m3jon. the m3 is NOT faster. PERIOD!

I've been around the BMW world for quite a while. Tonight I looked up some old friends. Jim C, Nick, Jay at GC, Josh at eurosport. James at Bimmerworld is building my new car. In fact, several I have had as clients. These fellas don't mean a lot to Porsche guys, but pretty well known in bmw circles.
Anyway, I retract my earlier statements about Jon.
