Freudian case of 997S envy. I have owned 4 BMWs including an 02 E46 M3. I have had a 996 and now a 997S. The 997S is faster. I ran 13.6 at 105 mph in the M3. I ran a 12.9 at 110 in my 997S with a street start and granny shifting.

I pulled 2 or 3 car lengths on a Viper the other weekend - granted we were doing over 150 - from a 75 mph start. Do I say I beat him - As we waved to each other as I exited the highway I said to myself I wish I could have asked him how easy he went on me - Instead I posted 997S beats Viper on every Dodge forum I could find

 

Not that anyone cares but I ran my buddys stock M3 the other night. I hope he doesn't read this. We were at a red light but I only I happened to be bhind him at the red light. Additionally, I let him go ahead as to not ram into his behind. He gunned it. Then I gunned it. He was running SMG. Me 6speed. It took 6 or 7 seconds to catch him at which point he might as well have hit the brakes and made a uturn. I smoked him. Im not particularily proud because I did not build the Porsche I just bought it. I don't get self affirmation from having a piece of metal go faster than another piece of metal. But it sure as hell is fun.

Reading that thread reminds me of the time I smoked a CGT in my 996. I absolutely DESTROYED him by a ton of car lengths over about a mile. I think he might have given me a better run if he wasn't changing a flat when I passed him...

Not only did he say he beat 3 997S, but also an M6. When every single person on the thread calls your BS, it's time to shut your mouth, not keep defending yourself! That was good for a laugh, though I couldn't make it through more than a third of the 24 freakin pages of the thread!!!!!!! Wow I just noticed this thread is 22 pages. obviously, youre another retard that doesnt comprehend anything when you read... I AM NOT THE SAME GUY THAT CLAIMS TO HAVE BEATEN AN M6! Is that clear enough for you? And a modded m3 compared to a stock 997S is not the same as a 996 vs a CGT, so your sarcastic comparison is makes no sense and isnt funny. And yes, this thread generates a lot of stupid comments like yours that are just plain stupid.

i really dont think any of you can talk any **** until you run my car.....its amazing how insecure you guys are. I post that my MODDED m3 can beat a stock 997S and you get your panties in a bunch and start crying like little girls. YOur only comebacks are personal attacks. Very mature. No hardcore proof or actual evidence that your car is faster than mine.
