hahahhaahh M3 beats 997S

THe point is that its ADDING volume of combustible air for compression. THats FI to me....how about we agree to disagree? It sure sounds to me like youre talking about shooting NOS into the intercooler......

ITs pointless for me to continue this discussion with you guys because youre so convinced otherwise. ITs fine... People that buy the 997S as their only Porsche are the guys that couldnt pony up the dough for a real turbo car. I know you should find some security in knowing you paid nearly double for a car that performs worse than an m3 and is less practical. Generally when people make the jump from an m3 to a p-car its to a turbo not to a 997S....
As for not coughing up the dough for a turbo and instead getting a 997s that is ridiculous. a 997s outperforms a stock m3 anyday in any way. Maybe its more practical but who cares. Some people dont need a FI car and thereofore opt not for the turbo. The 997s is one mean car thats all I have to say.
no doubt that the 997S is fast.. i never said that it wasnt... I also never said that a stock m3 could beat a 997S. A stock 997S outperforms a more-practical stock m3, thats for sure..... but for nearly double the price! Regardless of what you "think," a fully modded N/A m3 will beat a stock 997S.
You are very abrasive and defensive, and somewhat insulting to someone who was merely trying to help clarify this exhausted discussion.
"increase combustible air volume and fuel volume for more power."
This is inaccurate. You're not increasing AIR VOLUME. You're increasing OXYGEN CONCENTRATION. Air volume ramians the same with nitrous.

05997s: What didnt you like about the gruppe m ti exhaust. I am looking into getting an m3 and was doing some research on what exhausts would be good for it and I happened to like that one and found a great price for it. What were your impressions (i.e. power, tq, sound, quality etc). Any info would help, thanks!
