PM me I'll give you his info. Or you can talk to a guy at TPC racing. He is pretty much their crew chief. He should know. He's owned and driven every Porsche known to man.
Look at the post number in the top right corner, then you will see the middle symbol, its a balancing weight machine/scale.. Anyway im going to call up Porsche quick and give you their honest response, i hope they have info!

- 18" lightweight forged alum. Enkei wheels - 30 lb
- SS Race muffler - 25 lb
- SS S-Pipe/X-pipe - 15 lb
- Delage Sport CF Airbox with under drive pullies - 10 lb
- Lightweight Odysee battery - 32 lb
- delete rear seats - 50 lb
- Replace front seats with Sparco REV w/ alum. hardware - 110 lb
- rear trunk base empty - 20 lb
- Replace rear trunk with CF CSL-type - 10 lb
- CF double sided dry carbon front bumper - 16 lb
- CF double sided dry carbon Hood - 15 lb
- CSL CF roof going from stock moon roof spec - 90 lb
- LWFW (lightweight flywheel) - 17.5 lb
- Break kit - 35 lb

- Total weight drop:
With 1 front seat - 475.5 lb

note:
dropping weight off unsprung components (wheels, tires, brakes
and suspension) is more effective than dropping weight of sprung weight
(components like body panels). For e.g. dropping unsprung weight is almost
a factor of 2 to give the equivalent effective weight dropped. The 30 lb
dropped of your wheels since its also rotating weight saved will be
multiplied by a factor of 4, so those 30 lb are like 120 lb effective
weight dropped.

haha just a joke, everybody seems so insultive in this thread I had to jump in w/ at least one. Sorry you were the victim.

No really though she moves, yeah shes a pig but thats just my wife. The SRT can go man go I wish it wasnt so heavy though, eh what can ya do. I am not about to under go some crazy custom CF process on a fuking Dodge lol.

I am considering running the 997 into the nearest lake, it is so not "special" , it is the slowest thing in the garage, it may take my lawn mower for a run but thats it.

Why dont you Supercharge the 997? Also what kind of 1/4 mile time have you gotten out of the SRT?

Nah she can't no read no how so.. no worries.

That stuff is alot of $$ and frankly I don't have it soooo. I am not a balla like everyone else here, I am a working man. Where do you live in the swampy state?

I am not the best driver by a longggggggggg shot and there is a bug in the tranny on my 2-3 shift (very common btw) that hits you w/ a bit of a delay. I have to remap the ECU (done at dlr) , if they will do it is another issue though. I did a , cant remember exaclty ,but like 12.01 one night. Bascially its an 11 sec car w/o me at the wheel.

I have a buddy with a 05 SRT on Nitrous. I think his best time was 93 mph @ 16.7 seconds, or was it 16 mph in 93 seconds, I can't remember which.

Oh wow this thread is truley an embarasment to the M3 community. Kevin next time i am in seattle i am kicking your butt!!!!

But i would just like to give my apologies from m3forum we do not condone this type of behaviour on our forum and its a shame it had to travel here! But it is interesting to see that a popular scammer is posting here also.

I have to say that... if FI and all the mods can make an M3 so much faster than a 911S (which I do believe... no sarcasm here)... I can't WAIT to drive my FI 911S!!! Right? Right? Who feels me here???

That's where this conversation should have went. It's like saying... "I could kick Mike Tyson's ***... if I had a gun and he was tied up. Yeah!"

Your right, going FI with Evo's SC on a 997S i heard is a mid 11 sec car, which is damm FAST! There was a guy selling his car, i forgot his name, blah, anyway he posted some numbers for it and i was extremely surprised!
