hmm living at home and saving money toward BUYING a residence vs, throwing money away to lease a place seems like a better choice for me in my position at this time in my life... Keep slamming me for my life choices, dude....I'm secure enough to live at home while im saving money. You dont have to agree with MY choices just as you shouldnt care when i tell you that you should change your screen name and stop being a ****ing ****** poser.

welcome to the 997 forum on 6speedonline. THis is where the haters gang up on you for the info in your sig. Enjoy your stay. What a great online community they have here, huh? The best part is that most of these guys dont even have 997s.

M3j0n, I know of you from bimmerforums where I used to moderate the E36 M3 board. I do not understand WTF happened to this thread; it's a train wreck and don't remember you being in forum smackdowns like some of the notorious posters over there.

I don't care about what you do/don't own, and living at home at 25 to save money is fine. I would have if I had the chance at 20, but at 25 and a young lawyer, it wouldn't have worked for me.

This thread is not your shining moment. I suggest you chill out.

This may surprise you, but most successful people do not live with their parents and rent/lease apartments, houses or whatever and earn enough money to buy their own homes. Your "choice" simply reflects your inability to make enough money or that you are simply lazy and taking the path of least resistance. Why does that not surprise me?

And for the record, most of the people on this board have been pretty cool to you. The problem you are running into is that you don't like to hear the truth and that is nearly everything negative you say about others is actually very descriptive of your ownself and circumstances.

Are you REALLY that old? I would never have guessed. I would have thought you were 16 at most reading all your posts. Just goes to show how wrong you can be. I apologise for even thinking you were only 16.

If only I had known (as I'm sure others would have as well) I would have listened to you differently and treated you differently. Now I can see how all those cars can be yours.

I'm sure that you already have a great bedside manner (reading your posts) as a paramedic and I'm sure you will be very succesful when you finally qualify for the medical field.

really? I think that leasing an apartment IS THROWING MONEY AWAY. If you think otherwise, then its your opinion. Furthermore, Its far more effort to live back at home after youve been away for 5 years than just leasing an apartment. So your theory of taking the path of least resistance is BS. And I love the fact that you think that I cant handle the truth. All I posted on here was that a bolt on N/A m3 is faster than a stock 997S and all you guys flame me... IT looks like you guys cant handle the truth. Finally, where have i been untruthful and totally negative? If you look at all my posts on 6-speed, I'm willing to bet that 95% of the threads i post on are all positive comments, so i dont know what the **** youre talking about.

You have absolutely no clue of my bedside manner. Please GFY.

YEp.. im a freeloader. You got me. I'm using my parents for a bedroom and a couple garage spaces. DOnt worry about the 40-120 race. It wont be posted on here so I wont get slammed even more than im getting now. YOu guys really fit a lot of porsche driver stereotypes... I guess people like Martin, and Scott, and some other p-car members are the rarity..

Thats because i was never involved in this type of ****. The bmw guys are a bit more openminded than the 997 guys apparently. Thanks for the suggestion..Lucky for me, it does work for me to live at home and save money. Remember, youre out of school and I'm not. I still have quite a bit of school and school payments to worry about purchasing a home. I guess I'm a little more fugal than you would be. BTw, I am chilled and I know my car is faster than a 997S. Thanks.

THe point is that I should never come on 6speed and claim that a car of another make is faster than a p-car because it gets everyone's feathers ruffled to the point where they need to make personal attacks. Most of you guys just arent open-minded enough to accept reality. Realization is noted. Thanks.

No need to worry about me anymore... you guys successfully got rid of this troll.

You are defending a choice to live at home, declaring that the inherent wisdom of said decision lies in the fact that you get to save money for when you want to buy a house, yet at the same time you speak of how you make the payments on that GT2, when you already own in full a soon to be more heavily modded M3.

So it's not worth your time to lease/rent a place on your own, or for that matter commute a little farther than you would otherwise and buy a modest condo and build equity while you are doing what you need to with work/schooling to make more money, yet it's totally worth it to take that money and throw it at a GT2 payment and more mods for your M3?

Personally I could care less. I make less than you and my car isn't nearly as nice. I also don't find myself having to defend my actions, living arrangements nor age because I don't choose to discuss those things on this, a car enthusiast’s forum.

You have a chip on your shoulder the size of Missouri. Simmer down there cowboy, take a deep breath, cut your losses, and slowly back away from the keyboard.

Since you know south florida real estate so well, what kind of home can I buy for 125K? Like I said, I cant be making house payments when I'm in school, so the home needs to be purchased in FULL!
