Did you work to get the money for your GT2 and M3? How much, if any, was given to you (allowance, trust fund, whatever)? Not hating, just wondering. At 25 I was lucky to afford an Eclipse turbo.

 

Exactly. thank you for that. While attending a top 20 university, I used to sell aftermarket car parts online from my dormroom/apartment. After saving quite a bit of money, being frugal, and making some wise investments I made a good amount of cash. I went to Medic school for a year while getting my masters degree and i've been working as paramedic for a while. Living at home affords me a the ability to save up quite a bit of money. After I'm done paying for the gt2, I'll be looking for a nice apartment near a good medical school. Thats about my life in a nutshell. COUld I have done any of this without my parents? not a chance in hell. Was everything just given to me? nope. I love the hating that goes on here though. Its really refreshing to know that I'm in good shape at my age and i dont resent anyone for it...

 

This must be some new usage of "my garage" that I was not previously aware of, the actual meaning is "my fathers garage"

Seems like it's time for you to be a man and apologize for this BS. No one here really cares if it's your fathers garage, we all love cars no matter who they belong to, but misrepresenting yourself is just plain ol' lying brother and people always react negatively when they realize they have been lied to.

 

Just so we're clear, I'm not your brother and dont care to be. And unlike things at your house, I can use any car whenever I want. At 25, I'm an adult and probably more accomplished than 90% of America. So, I dont see how the semantics of typing "my father's garage" vs. "my garage" has any relevance on the first-hand knowledge that I have and most in this thread lack.

I'm sure I'm not the only one here at 6speedonline (or many of the other forums you post prolifically at) that will be somewhat hesitant to believe another word you say. Frankly, having reading some of your posts at other sites, your M.O. is indeed to be overly aggressive, closed to anyone else's point of view and extremely arrogant.

I think some of the attacks you see are brought on by yourself by being overly aggressive and closed to perfectly legitimate points of view, I think you'd have a much better time if you just calm down and chill out a bit.

That's all I have to say on the subject, it's not meant as an attack, it's meant to be constructive criticism, something you'll have to get used to when you get a boss and a job.

If you think I'm a *****, thats totally your opinion and youre entitled to it. Getting back to the topic, I have first hand knowledge and experience of a a bolt on n/a m3 vs a stock 997S. And I chimed in on the thread. Does anyone else have firsthand experience, or are they just talking out of their asses?....

Contrary to popular belief, I had plenty of jobs with plenty of bosses. I seem to be doing pretty well, but ill keep your tips in mind.

As expected, sucking from mommas teet. Not hating mind you, just the reality of your situation. When I was 25 I was making 100K, had a nice 3 series and owned my own house. Not a dime from dear old dad so personally am not impressed with your claim of being in the 90th percentile. Also your claim that what is Dads is yours is just another way of saying that, I haven't done ****, but look how great my Dad is, just insecurity on your part.

Bottom line, you have been deceitful for the sole purpose of trying to make yourself appear to be something you are not. You are not very smart, definetly immature (especially for a 25 year old) a straight up punk ***** kid that would make dad cringe with embarassment if he knew what you were up to.

Btw, im guessing that you went to a university in order to be making 100K at 25.... im guessing you paid your parents back for that, right?... or any of the living costs associated with keeping you alive from the period of 18 to 25? probably not... but you still continue to think that your parents didnt help you.. thats precious. oh and your 997S is beautiful, can we see more pics of it? (at least my m3s exist) HAHAHA

 

Yeah maybe you could extroplate on your "I live at home with my parents" and I am more successful than 90% of Americans. But at this point nothing you say is believable or surprising for that matter.

If and when I buy another car, at least you can be confident that I will be signing the check.
