I grew up around Corvette's... my pops has ALWAYS had one. He road raced and drag raced when he was younger and I went to the track with him all the time, I cant help it, the Corvette is in my blood
The H2, yeah. Sorry.
Seriously, I've always been a vette fan. I always wanted a '63 split window. I'm not a huge fan of general statements, but if asked the question which is more "white trash" a 911, a Corvette, Mercedes SL, Aston Martin, BMW 6-series, etc which would you choose?
Anyway, don't take things too seriously.
Happy Thanksgiving.

I never updated the profile

but yes, I agree, the Corvette is not a "high line" car nor is it a prestigious car, but it is far from "white trash", in my opinion.
yes, there are the gold chain cheezeballs cruising around in their 94's like they are god's gift, but come on.. we could also generalize about all kindsa other cars as well

and for the record, I dont take alot seriously
eat alot of Turkey and have a laugh, I know I will
I have owned 3 Corvettes and the last one was a 2000 C5. I loved that car and enjoyed the hell out of it. Since then I have had a Boxster S, 996 C4, and now a 997. I like the balance and linear power curve of the 911, but some day I wouldn't mind having a C6 Conv as another weekend car....or maybe a new Boxster. Anyway, they are decent cars, I visited the factory twice in Bowling Green, those folks do a nice job building that car and seem to take a lot of pride in the build quality. My guess is that's GM's best quality plant, if anyone has an opportunity to visit the factory and the Corvette museum I highly recommend it. I think anyone that trashes the Corvette because it doesn't reflect their social status isn't a real sports car person. As others mentioned, the scary part is taking it to the Chevy dealer for service. I never think twice about dropping my P car at the dealer, I think most know what they are doing. We should all be thankful for what we have
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Then you'll have a brand new Porsche 911 with 470 ponies. At 470 HP you are right near Z06 performance numbers but the big kicker is you have a car with a HELLUVA lot better build quality, interior, etc than a Corvette. Sounds pretty damn good to me!!!!
LOL
Of my friends who have high performance cars, the only one who has had a major mechanical has an 05' Carrera that had engine/trans replaced. It has a real nice interior though. Full leather.
While I respect that you think the Corvette is a horrible car, its much faster and has better resale than any Porsche right now. I mean just saying if you are going to consider value.
And speaking of rattles.

If I desperatley wanted it I would already have one. You read what you want to read at CF, I know all about the pitfalls. Its just funny that you play it off like its such a POS and the Porsche is so great. Personally, I like them both. I'm just messing with you cause you drive a Cayman. I think my 745Li could kick that cars *** on a big HP track.
