To mod or not to mod? That is my question

So i have had my 05 997s for a year and a half. This is my first porsche or real sportscar for that matter. I like power I have taking it to around 140mph thats about max right now...I have flirted with the idea of getting a new turbo...but I love my car now and really like the techart, ruf, and gemballa mod look ,. So do I just add some horsepower or just trade in my stock 997s and get the turbo.

main considerations for me:

if I mod my car how will it effect my resale price?
do mods make cars less reliable?
are tech art suspension and awe exhausts REALLY better than my stock parts?
I have heard that they invalidate my warranty?

any other pros and cons would be appreciated...Im stuck.

you won't get any of the money you spent on your mods

things to know before you mod:
1) it's a bug and you will keep wanting to do it every time you buy a car. In fact sometimes you will find having mods before having the car. (my case).
2) a little bit pain, you really have to find a shop that you can trust for installation (like wheel balancing etc, SC install).
3) YOu have to be extra careful when you drive,
- if suspension then wife will complain
- if wheels, your eyes will become radar detector for patholes
- if SC, again ur eyes will need more attention to stay away from cops
- if anything engine related, you will find yourself trying to prove things
to the dealer if anything goes wrong, warranty out etc
- the car will loop super and you will be broke. (5k in mods is nothing. avg
I think it's running 10k and upwards <basic wheels, suspension,
alignment, intake, full exhaust will set u back upwards of 10k

Enjoy and again Enjoy.

If you have the $ get the TT or a GT3. If you are not too happy with the power than no mod will really help except a super charger.

the thing about mods is you put ur own uniqueness to the car if you get a tt you will still only have a stock tt [which by the way is one of the sickess cars] but if u mod your car.... you put your own little stamp in your car.just my .02 by the way if u start u wont be able to stop
