C2S & speedbumps?

How does the stock suspension deal with typical city speedbumps? Any scraping at all? Can you drive them head on or do you have to manipulate them from an angle?

No scraping here with most speed bumps. Only thing I have to be careful of is steep driveways, usually have to come in at an angle.

I barely scrape .. you might have an issue if you lower the car or go with a bodykit.

I've never had any problems with speedbumps, just have to take them nice and easy. The only problem is with some drives or steep hills where you have to take them at an angle... other than that, the car is PERFECT.

Ive been driving a Relatives C2S for a few days, no problems so far; but there are some speedbumps that I have to go at an angle so that it doesnt scrape.

I have the areokit on my car and don't have problems with speed bumps. If they look taller then average then I might go at a angle..

scraping

I have H&R springs which lowered my C2 about 1". I have had to totally change the way I approach driving in the street. No more head on approaches and slow over bumps will keep your Ruf in good shape.

I have the H&R springs and the bumps in my community can be taken head-on. I do take them at an angle just for safety's sake. Steep driveways are DEFINITELY a place to be careful...

techart springs and oem front-end on my c2 (non pasm).....speed bumps, no problem. steep driveway approaches/exits? a definite problem. scraping the splash guards in front of the wheels/under spoiler is the least of my concerns. bottoming out the spoiler on steep/v=shaped driveways is entirely different and will occur no matter how much you angle the car (or how slow you take it). you will know when it happens as the two sounds are very different.

i'm running the oem suspension on my 997 C2S and it's not the front bumper that scrapes sometimes, it's those black plastic "flaps" that are right in front of the front tires. approaching at an angle doesn't seem to help either. i just go really really really slowly.

No problem with speedbumps, just haveto take it slow. Although I have to angle it into a few driveways.

I have this type of driveway, the curvy-wavy type. Here's the only photo I could find of the type I have.

It will scrape/bump hard if you don't take it at an angle. Stock everything.
