Thanks guys.

Anyway... what's done is done and there's no way back. I'm glad he changed his car and maybe in the future he get's a RUF supercharger kit.

I also understand that this kind of modifications should be done in-house. I mean... the car is not prepared to handle a S/C system without proper tune up.

The argument here is the lack of compromise from the builder of this product up to the sales persons at Wheels Boutique. They are all in the business... and all made good profit when I swiped my black card... now they just don't care.

Honestly... F**K THEM! Won't go there anymore... don't care. Like my brother said we do our business for a living... If we really knew that much about german cars and had passion for that kind of work we'd be doing something else instead, but we don't... so we buy a service. Because the sale of any part from any company to a private party is buying a Service too. Not the final product. If i cared about the product maybe I've gotten things from China at 1/3 the price and done it the same way with the same results... but no, we go to a "well known company" to do this, we outsource what we do to our cars, and we have cars because of the very same reason as you do... We love them and pamper them. So when things like this happens I feel really dissapointed.

This is like getting a Valentino and the Taylor mess it. Would you wear it? I mean... It's not Valentinos fault at all... but he's responsable for hiring an inoperant Taylor... same thing here...

Taylor or do you mean tailor.
Also if you swipped your black card and they are not giving the service or what they promised. i would not hesitate to call them up and dispute the charges. Put you foot in the throat and all parties who benefited would be very eagered to help. It sucks when you have bad experience like that. Been there and done that. As the customer, you shouldn't have to deal with this. It's like paying for headache. :-)
How is the new car ??????

Sorry to read about your problems with EVO.
Mostly due to your bad experience, my friend has decided not to take a chance with EVO or other cheaper manufacturers and has contacted Ruf to make the installation arrangements.
Ruf seems to have a long history with Porsche and has one of the best reputations anywhere.

As I understand it, Ruf not only guarantees their supercharger, they also thoroughly check the engine BEFORE they even agree to install it .
They can rebuild the engine if necessary, and then guarantee the whole thing . The supercharger AND the engine .
( I may consider that when my 997 S warranty expires )

I guess they cost more for a reason.
As with everything else, you get what you pay for. After all , is'nt that why we spent a lot more to get a Porsche in the first place ?

I hope you have better luck with your new car .

Having been on the seller side for a while, there are just some customers you wish you didn't have.

Why? I`m not lying! or changing the true!!!
If you spend U$S 26.000 and then they send all wrong...and wrong...and wrong...and they dont do a S--T what`s your normal reaction?
and they do these kind of things because some customers are in the other side of the planet! like me! and the internet today is a powerful machine to protest!

I'd like to hear their side too, they seem to have great products and should defend their reputation.

Who the hell cares already? SC gone to someone else and Paris has a new car. It could be the part or it could be installer. The fact is both evoms and paris are not doing business together. Game over end of story.

Bottom line Paris will be here tomorrow and so will evoms.

Aloha

Come on Gravedgr what does that say to you. Not responding is guilt, like when I ask my wife how much money did she spend. Turning your back or saying nothing, is running away (like a high speed chase on TV). Then my wife goes upstairs with her seven bags from South Coast Plaza.

True but they're still in the same business and should clear things up as not to discourage future customers. What happened with Paris could be an isolated incident.

How isolated is it? Paris lives in Buenos Aires, not across the street. Who would you cheat on your wife that goes Buenos Aires twice a month or one you have a home business with? I watch a lot of CSI.

Hello Everybody as the EVO dealer for Mexico i'm going to post in spanish to try to help Paris.
